Your details

How we look after what you tell us.

Short version: we collect only what we need to register you and plan CERT-APART, we do not sell it, and you can change or delete it whenever you like.

Who we are

CERT-APART is an online certification preparation (cert-prep) platform for globally recognized professional certifications. You can reach the team at rise@cert-apart.org.

What we collect

Why we collect it

Who can see it

Authorised CERT-APART and Trainora programme staff, through a password-protected dashboard. Our website and email are hosted by Hostinger. We do not sell your details or share them for advertising.

Why we are allowed to use it

You give us your details and agree to be contacted when you register. We also need them to run the program you signed up for, to take your payment and to issue your receipt. If you tick the box to hear from us about other programs, you can take that back at any time.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to run the program and stay in touch with you, or until you ask us to delete it. Payment receipts are different: we keep them for the period the law requires for financial records, even if you delete your registration. The receipt itself (your name, what you paid for and the amount) is all we keep for that purpose.

Your rights

We answer requests as quickly as we can and will tell you if we cannot do something and why.

How we protect it

Our dashboards need a password, and staff accounts can also need a code from a phone app (two-step sign-in). Staff only see what their job needs, and what staff do is recorded in an activity log that shows if it has been changed. We keep daily backups. Our website and email are hosted by Hostinger, whose servers may be outside Ghana. Emails we send to you contain a private link to your registration page, so please do not forward them.

Video calls in the learning room go straight between the people in the call; we do not record them. Files and messages shared during a call are deleted the next day.

Cookies

We use only the small cookie our forms need to work securely. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Our site may be delivered through Cloudflare, which sees technical details such as your internet address for this.

The law

We aim to handle personal data in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
